This blog will (hopefully) cover a lot of ground before running out of steam. I plan to focus on machine learning, data engineering and data science, but expect a liberal smattering of other topics. What other topics? Well, ask again next year.
The same as every other technical blog
Expect tutorials - I have one in the works now - and reviews about whatever's caught my fancy.
Short tutorials will include all code embedded in blocks,
# all_inclusive.py def tutorial(): an_example = 'useful information ' context = 'you can take to the bank.' return an_example
with diffs shown along the way
# all_inclusive.py def tutorial(): an_example = 'useful information ' context = 'you can take to the bank.' + the_larger_point = an_example + context - return an_example + return the_larger_point
and finishing with everything the reader will need to complete the tutorial.
# all_inclusive.py def tutorial(): an_example = 'useful information ' context = 'you can take to the bank.' the_larger_point = an_example + context return the_larger_point
Longer tutorials will typically link to a companion github repo.
For the product/project reviews, expect words formatted into blocks of words with headings - I'm hoping to get some pictures in there as well.
This is where your guess may be as good as mine.
I'm hoping to push out 1+ posts per week. Will I get to 5? Who knows... but that would be pretty awesome. For now, I'll commit to really striving for that plus side of 1.
I'm pretty excited.
There are some great topics coming up. I already have posts on GatsbyJS and machine-learning model deployment in the hopper.
I welcome you to join me on this blogging journey. Hopefully you find it entertaining, inspiring - perhaps occasionally informative. Let's have some fun.
